Due East Tea Custom Blending

Let us help you make a consistent, attractive, and delicious product

How It Works

You Start a Project

At the bottom of the page, send us a message to request a New Project Form. Once you receive it, fill it out and send it back! This gives us an idea of what you're looking for, the scale of your project, and whether you'll need specialized services*.

We Chat

Once we know what you're looking for, we'll give you a call to discuss things in more detail and answer any questions you may have. This is a chance for us to make sure we're on the same page and are interpreting your vision correctly. If you don't have a clear idea of how you want the final product to end up, that's okay! This is the time to work together to explore the options and narrow things down.

Payment for Development

We charge a flat rate of $70.00 for our blend development and production services, regardless of how many rounds of refinement your project goes through. Payment in full is required before development begins.

We Make a Blueprint

Based on your project form and our conversation, we develop a "Blend Blueprint" to send you. This includes a list of primary and secondary ingredients as well as a rough estimate of what the price per pound may be for the finished blend.

You Get a Sample

If there are no objections or changes requested to the blueprint, a sample blend is created and shipped to you for cupping.

We Refine

After tasting the sample blend, you give us feedback and we refine the recipe. This process can go through several rounds, but typically is finished within one to three.

Blend is Purchased

Once a recipe is settled on, you purchase the amount you want produced. We require an initial minimum purchase of 1kg (2.2lb) in order to move into production.

In Production

The final blend is produced and shipped to you!
