Grown in upper Assam between the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River and the Naga Hills, this flowery broken orange pekoe from Hunwal Tea Estate brews a deep burgundy cup. A medium bodied tea with layers of malt, a bit of astringency, and mineral undertones that’s great alone or with a bit of milk and sugar.  

 What we’re doing:

  • 1 heaping teaspoon (about 3 grams) of Hunwal FBOP per 6-8 oz serving
  • Heat fresh water to 212ºF (boil)
  • Steep 3-5 minutes
