A Kenyan take on a Japanese classic! With global demand for green tea rising as knowledge of its health benefits grows, Kenyan tea producers have answered the call. This tea is grown with an imported tea genus used for sencha production, and maintains notes of its Japanese counterpart, while introducing the influence of Kenya’s terroir. A broad, full leaf style lets you appreciate the abundance of buds and tender new leaves.

 What we're doing:

  • 1 heaping teaspoon (about 3 grams) of Kenya Sencha per 6-8 oz serving
  • Heat fresh water to 170º-177ºF
  • Steep 2-3 minutes
  • Multiple infusions
